How to Draw a Castle – (Step by Step) Easy Castle Drawing for beginners

I’m going to draw small shapes step by step, so take this drawing at your own pace.

Let’s start with this rectangle shape first – make sure the top is empty.

1 - draw the middle part of the castle

Now, let’s draw the pattern on top – all the walls will have structures like this because this is where archers stand in the castle – it’s easier to peek through these holes and even place cannons here.

2 - draw the cuts

Next, we’re going to draw the door of the castle.

3 - draw the castle door

Now, we’ll draw the surrounding structures – so copy the same L shape on both sides.

4 - draw the foundation

Next, we’ll repeat the structure on top of both of the side walls.

5 - repeat the pattern

Now, it’s time to draw the turrets. So draw 2 more rectangles on top of the structures.

6 - draw the towers

Remember to draw the roofs on those turrets – so draw 2 triangle shapes like this.

7 - draw the turrets

We’re done drawing the turrets – just add windows to both the turrets.

8 - draw the windows

Last, draw a middle portion and add a window to that too.

You can add flags to all the pointy rooftops.

9 - draw the middle part

Now, start coloring the castle – use your imagination and color it any color you want.

10 - color the castle

Remember to color the windows and the flags too!

11 - add the lights

And we’re done!

You’ve just learned how to draw an easy castle!

Congratulations!
