How to Draw a Cute Valentine Frog

In this post, I’m going to show you how to draw a Valentine frog step by step so that by the end of the tutorial, you’ll get something like this: I know it looks hard – but it’s not if you follow my steps!

I am currently using an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil to create my digital art.

But you can use any tool – a pen and paper or color pencils or Copic markers or Photoshop because the drawing method remains the same.

How to Draw a cute Valentine Frog – Step by Step for Beginners

I always start with simple shapes so that anyone can do this drawing.

In this post, I’ll teach you how to draw a valentine frog step by step – if you like drawing kawaii animals, you’ll love this!

First, we’re going to draw the frog’s head – so draw a small curved line like this:

1 - draw the top of the head of the frog

Next, let’s draw the frog’s enlarged head like this: draw 2 curvy shapes to get this

Next, let’s draw the frog’s cute face – since she is smiling, we’re going to draw her eyes closed and draw a small w shape for her mouth.

Next, we’ll draw the sides of the frog – so draw 2 small shapes.

Now, draw the frog’s arms.

And now, draw the sides of the frog’s body like this:

Now, draw 2 small legs at the bottom. Make it flat at the bottom to add that extra dose of cuteness

Next, draw the belly joining the two legs.

Finally, draw some small hearts over the frog to make it look like the frog is radiating a whole lot of love!

Next, we’ll color the frog and the hearts any color you want – I’m going to use different shades of pink!

And we’re done.

What do you need?

A sketchbook, Photoshop, and a graphic tablet so that you can draw the kawaii characters. If you want to make stickers, you’ll need a printer and sticker sheets.
