How to Draw a Kawaii Pig Face - Draw Cartoon Style!

I love drawing cute chibi animals.

These types of drawings are super cute to add to any notebook or planner and they also make great drawing projects for kids.

I’ve already done a lot of tutorials on drawing cute and kawaii animals that you can check out here.

In this post, I’m going to show you how to draw a cute kawaii pig face step by step so that by the end of the tutorial, you’ll get something like this:

I am currently using an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil to create my digital art.

But you can use any tool – a pen and paper or color pencils or Copic markers or Photoshop because the drawing method remains the same.

How to Draw a kawaii pig face – Step by Step for Beginners

I always start with simple and easy shapes.

We’ll start by drawing the pig’s head – so I’m going to draw a small curve like this – this will be the top of the pig’s head.

Next, we’ll draw the little pig’s ears.

We’ll draw 2 curves like this: pigs’ ears usually curve inwards – that’s how cute they are.

2 - draw the outer parts of the pigs ears

Take your time with this – these shapes are crucial to getting your pig looking just right.

Now remember, it’s not necessary for your shapes to look perfect. The more imperfect it is, the more cute it will actually look.

Next, draw the pig’s face – so I’m going to draw a nice oval like this:

Remember, it doesn’t need to be a perfect oval – those natural lines will make your pig look more wholesome.

And your pig’s head is done.

Next, add 2 eyes and a smalls snout in the middle: Remember to add the 2 nostrils to the pig’s snout.

Now, draw the ears curving inward, so draw 2 pointy triangles to get those ears to look curved.

Ain’t that cute?

Color your pig pink now.

Don’t forget to color the pig’s nose a little darker pink.

And we’re done! But you can also add 2 blush spots to make your pig look cuter!

Draw kawaii characters and make stickers!
