Christmas is nearing!
And I love anything related to Christmas – it’s my favorite holiday.
This year, I thought I’d add multiple Christmas kawaii drawing tutorials.
All of these Christmas drawing ideas are for beginners and kids and they’re all step-by-step.
I’ve already done a lot of tutorials on Christmas already that includes Rudolph, A Christmas Gnome, A Christmas pudding, a Christmas tree with presents, and a Christmas tree with lights and a Christmas Guinea Pig.
But in this tutorial, I’ll teach you how to draw a Snowman head.

I am currently using an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil to create my digital art.
But you can use any tool – a pen and paper or colored pencils or Copic markers or Photoshop because the drawing method remains the same.
How to draw a Snowman Head – Step by step for beginners and kids
We are going to be using very simple shapes.
Let’s begin by drawing the hat of the snowman first.
I’m going to draw a curve first.
Next, we’ll draw the rim of the hat – just draw another curve inside and underneath the previous one – sort of like a tilted crescent moon.
Next, we’ll draw the top of the hat drooping at the side. I’m going to draw another curve on top of the crescent shape.
Complete the hat by drawing a small fluffy ball at the end and then completing the hat.
Then, we’ll draw a large round circle underneath the hat. It doesn’t need to be perfect.
Next, we’ll draw 2 round eyes and a curve for the mouth.
Now, it’s time to draw the carrot nose.
Let’s start by drawing a small curve like a bracket at the side of the snowman’s head in between the eyes.
Then, draw a pointy triangle shape connected to the curve – this is how you draw the carrot nose on the snowman’s head.
And finally, we’ll finish drawing the snowman head by drawing a scarf underneath.
Just draw another curve under the snowman head.
Now, draw 2 scarf ends on one side of the snowman head.
Let’s start coloring the snowman head.
I’m going to add 2 blush spots on the snowman head and color the carrot orange.
Next, you can color the hat and scarf any color you want – but because it’s nearing Christmas, I’m going to use very Christmasey colors like green and red.
And finally, you can add some designs to the scarf and hat.
And that’s it!
We’ve learned how to draw a Snowman head.

If you are interested in drawing in a kawaii style and then selling clipart or merchandise on Etsy, check out this course!
My old bud Ilaria (we’ve been friends on Instagram back when I had Instagram) created this course! I’ve watched her grow from 0 followers, and I’m so, so proud of her!
And believe it or not, there is not 1 single good online course about learning how to draw kawaii art and then making physical stickers on the internet. I’ve been looking for a course like this for a long, long time.
And it’s finally here!!!
You can create your own stickers and print them and sell them on Etsy or any space! She goes into detail about how to draw the characters.
This is by far one of the best courses I’ve taken that is so cute and so educational.
The course is in English, and it’s amazing!
What do you need?
A sketchbook, Photoshop, and a graphic tablet so that you can draw the kawaii characters. If you want to make stickers, you’ll need a printer and sticker sheets.
Even if you don’t want to make stickers and just draw kawaii characters, this course is perfect!
And if you are really keen on improving your drawings or you want to create cute kawaii animals and kawaii people, check out this second course by Sara.
Sara teaches you how to draw anything in a nice kawaii style. I really love these kinds of courses because they’re so easy to learn and it’s very easy to get clients because this is a really relatable drawing style.
It is in Italian but it comes with subtitles and it’s really easy to follow.
