How to Draw a Frog Ice Cream - Draw Cartoon Style!

I love drawing cute chibi animals and food!

These types of drawings are super cute to add to any notebook or planner and they also make great drawing projects for kids.

In this post, I’m going to show you how to draw a frog ice cream step by step so that by the end of the tutorial, you’ll get something like this:

I am currently using an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil to create my digital art.

But you can use any tool – a pen and paper or color pencils or Copic markers or Photoshop because the drawing method remains the same.

How to draw a frog ice cream – Step by step for beginners

I always start with simple shapes so that anyone can do this drawing.

Let’s start with the top of the frog’s head. We’ll draw a line like this on the top center of the page.

Next, I will draw the frog’s upper part of the body – the bulgy eyes. So draw 2 extended curves like this

If you nail this, the rest of your frog will be so cute!

Next, we are going to draw the frog’s head. I’m just going to draw a bell curve like this:

Next, we’ll draw the frog’s facial features, just draw 2 eyes and a mouth.

Now, we are going to draw the cone underneath the little frog so that we get a cute frog ice cream like this:

Next, it doesn’t look much like ice cream until we make it look like the scoop is melting, so I am going to draw a small drip in the corner:

Doesn’t it look adorable now?

We’re done!

To complete our frog ice cream drawing, we need to color it!

I’m going to color our little frog green and even give him a small tummy.

So, color the cone any color you want – I’m going to color it biscuit color and even add some cross-hatching to give it that ice cream cone look!

I’ll also add 2 blush spots to give him that cute kawaii look!

Draw kawaii characters and make stickers!
