Please note that I’m using Procreate and drawing this digitally.

You can even use Clip Art Studio as it is beautiful software that most digital artists use, including Manga and Anime artists.

I talk more about how I got started with digital art here.

You can use any tool you want to make this drawing because the process basically is the same. You can use color pencils, pens or crayons – it’s completely your choice!

Let’s begin.

Step 1: Draw a witch ghost

We will start by drawing the outline of the ghost.

I am going to use very simple shapes. Let’s draw a dome shape first like this:

Next, we will draw the ends of the ghost or the ends of the bedsheet.

Just draw a wavy line like this.

Let’s draw the face of the ghost.

To keep things simple, just draw 2 eyes and a small mouth in the middle.

We are also going to draw 2 “u” shapes at the bottom of the ghost to make it look like the ghost has hands.

Now, it’s time to draw the witch’s hat.

Draw a curve like this over the ghost – make sure the curve overlaps the sides.

This is the hat of the ghost. Erase the lines overlapping the top of the hat.

Now, draw a curve like this over the wavy line – it’s going to be the rim of the witch’s hat.

Next, draw the pointy part of the hat like this:

Finally, draw a cute ribbon on the witch’s hat like this:

And we have finally drawn a cute witch ghost.

Step 2: Color the witch ghost

You can color your ghost any color. But I am going to color him blue and add 2 blush spots on his cheek to make him look super cute.

Next, I’ll color the witch’s hat bright purple and color the ribbon a bright orange to give him a Halloween look!

And voila, we’ve finished drawing a cute witch ghost.
