How to Draw a Kawaii Soda Can - Draw Cartoon Style!

I have recently developed an addiction to drawing food in a kawaii style. And it’s a fact that I love milk and strawberries. So, in this post, I thought I’ll teach you how to draw a kawaii soda can.

You can draw any fruit on the soda can – no worries.

This is such a great kid’s project! And these make adorable stickers.

How to draw a kawaii soda can step by step – Easy tutorial for beginners

Please note that I’m using Procreate and drawing this digitally.

You can even use Clip Art Studio as it is beautiful software that most digital artists use, including Manga and Anime artists.

I talk more about how I got started with digital art here.

You can use any tool you want to make this drawing because the process basically is the same. You can use color pencils, pens or crayons – it’s completely your choice!

Let’s begin.

Step 1: Draw the outline of the soda can

Let’s start by drawing the soda can first.

We are going to draw the top of the soda can – so draw an elliptical shape like this:

Next, we’re going to draw the body of the soda can.

Now, draw a small rim at the bottom of the soda can like this:

Then, draw the hole at the top and the pull-tab of the soda can.

Next, we’ll draw a little strawberry on the can – this shape is a curved triangle.

Next, draw the head of the strawberry.

And now, draw a small cute smiley face on the strawberry.

Wasn’t that easy?

Now, we’ve finished drawing the soda can – let’s color it.

Step 2: Color the kawaii soda can

Since it’s a strawberry can, I’m going to color the top and bottom grey and the can pink.

I’m going with pink but you can color it any color you want.

Next, I’ll add a wave of a darker pink just to add more color!

Next, I’ll color the strawberry.

And then we can add some spots and sparkles to the can to make it look more pretty!

And we’re done drawing and coloring the kawaii soda can.
